Marios Loucaides, Former CEO of CTC Group. Corporate management, Business Systems, Marketing, Retail Operations.

Marios Loucaides  has a 25 years career in CTC group starting as General Manager of Argosy Trading Co (FMCG distribution), as well as being CEO of the group for 14 years.

Diversified experience in operational as well as corporate work in fields such as FMCG distribution, HORECA, Tobacco, Cosmetics, Construction, Duty Free Retail, F&B, Automotive, Electrical Appliances, Telecoms (both retail and operator) and basic manufacturing (Dairy and Socks). Being hands on and an advocate of learning this gave me the opportunity to get a good understanding of these fields. This also required involvement in multiple functions ranging from sales and marketing to logistics and business systems.

During these years the company had a very successful track record in terms of growth and profitability achieved through perseverance and hard teamwork.

Before CTC that evidently marked his outstanding career, he has been the General Manager of Demstar Ltd with the challenging task to set up a new diversified operation of an Automotive Company which acquired the IBM dealership. The initial staff of 6 grew to 50 and within 7 years the company became the leading IT hardware supplier in CYPRUS with exclusive agencies of HP and Star Micronics and retail outlets in 2 cities and very effective B2B setup. He also worked as a programmer/analyst and a teacher of Mathematics, Statistics and IT.

Marios Loucaides is the Chairman of EEET Cyprus (TV viewership Measurement Industry Body) since 2004, serves as the President of ECR Cyprus from 2016 and he is also a member of the Entrepreneurship Council of the University of Cyprus.
