From the conception of an idea to the design of an object in order to produce a complete product, it is necessary to perform specific steps. The workshop will introduce the whole design process with specific reference to methodologies and creative exercises aiming the development of ideas (design thinking) where these in turn will be visualized in the form of digital sketches. Participants will be exposed to the process of digital prototyping and modelling with exercises in digital product design and the whole design cycle of object development. Through the use of technologies such as 3D printing, 3D scanning and Digital Sculpting, participants will be able to complete design projects that will include all the steps that will be taught in the seminar.
